Each Apple product can create email and others related using iCloud. iCloud could be used for backup data for your Mac and iOS Device.
But same user has issues that the last backup could not be completed. Here is step by step to fix this issues
- Reboot You iDevice
Electronic device sometimes didn't work as expected. So the first time is Reboot Device, just hold power button until Power Off appear then turn it off. Then turn it On. If this step didn't work try Hard Reboot (Force Reboot), to Force Reboot just Hold Power Button and Home Button simultaneously until it Reboot (Apple Logo Appear) then try it again goes to Settings > iCloud and try backup again - Log out iCloud and Login Again
Log out your iCloud account and reboot/power off then power on and login again. Most user already fix this issues using this method. - Reset Network Settings
This method try by some user and work. Just Reset Network settings and do it again. Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings - Update Your iDevice
Try to check an update your iDevice and if there are some update then update your iDevice into latest version. - Delete Old Backup
This step is another step that user reported also work. To Fix Last Backup Could Not Be Completed issues is delete old backup. Goes to Settings -> iCloud -> Storage -> Manage Storage and delete old backup
